Im excited to announce that Ill be opening my studio for 17th time in the 36 years the Button Factory Artist studios have been hosting this three day holiday event. Ill be exhibiting new oil paintings and taking registrations for some new classes and workshops for 2024. For one glorious weekend each year, local artists open their studios to the public. It will be bursting with art, food, drink, music and good company.
To be clear, my studio at the Button Factory is where I make the paintings, not to be confused with my gallery on Ceres Street in Portsmouth. Come by and visit more than 50+ local artists. Be sure and stop by studio A100 and say hello to myself and my studio partner, oil painter, Frank Hyer.
Studio A100 is the first studio on the Button Factory tour. Take a left into the courtyard before you enter the building and you will see our studio entrance. Hope to see you.

Max Bonita
Button Factory 2014
The Button Factory annual artist open studio event in Portsmouth, NH was this past weekend and was by far, the most fun open studio Ive attended in the seven years I've had a space there. Largely because of that smiling character pictured above...thats my talented seven year old Max holding his marker on canvas paintings. He was a huge hit and made many patrons very pleased with their purchase. He completely sold out of his art work and I couldn't be prouder having observed his sincerity and graciousness with his collectors. "Daddy, I can't wait to see someone walking away with one of my paintings", he said to me before the event. Incredible day!!! So happy for my whipper-snapper! Way-to-go pups!
