Drawing for Landscape Painters: Learning to See
Strong drawing is the foundation of successful landscape painting. More than simply making accurate lines, drawing teaches us how to observe, simplify, organize, and understand the world around us. This course combines principles from Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain with classical drawing concepts to help artists strengthen their observation skills and create more confident, expressive landscapes.
Working in a relaxed, small-group studio setting, you'll learn practical drawing techniques that improve not only your sketches but also your paintings. Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual instruction, you'll train your eye to recognize shape, proportion, light, and design—the essential building blocks of compelling landscape art.

- * Notan design and thumbnail sketching for stronger compositions
